Dart needs crosstown routes. Downtown Dallas is too far away to be the nexus for all of these lines.

^^ agreed with both points. If there was an east west line along 635 north it would serve the population well I would think..

South Dallas is on the verge of some sizeable growth...Cedars/Southside, anyone?
The Grow South initiative is a plan that debunks anyone's fallacious claim that South Dallas isn't thought of anymore. While there's understandably not as much growth as the north side there's a lot in the pipeline that shouldn't be undermined.

I think Fox 4 did that not DART. On other news stations, the whole map was shown.
