Looks like a nice hay field to me and hey, there's nothing wrong in that. Got to keep those cattle fed in the winter months so people can enjoy those nice juicy steaks and hamburgers. It's a nice picture that shows some open land that's tended to and that's nice. Sun going down and the always line of trees on the far fence line. To me, this picture represents the down to earth, everyday, working side of Texas (country side of it, not the high rise city jobs, LOL), just not as active as some nor as scenic as others. I will say one thing, if you've been stuck in a city for any length of time with having only buildings, concrete, automobiles, people etc. to look at, this is a sight for sore eyes.

Big skies and lots of open space! Up in the Panhandle we could do with a few more trees, otherwise I like it as is.....

That's beautiful grass there. And wide open skies where you can really see the sunrise, the sunset, and the stars. I love it!

When I lived in the middle of the Akron/Cleveland metro area and was working in Chicago, Detroit, New York, and Boston, I loved coming home to Texas and seeing sites just like this picture. I feel free and can really feel God when I see a scene like that--and even more so when I am actually there. Thank you for posting it. To me, that is what Texas is all about. Space, freedom, God, nature, unencumbered. I love it!
