You shouldn't have fallen asleep during your Texas History classes.

Ok, here's what it said: You are 55% REAL Texan!!
You're mostly texan. You know your Mexican food, state heritage and are probably slightly politically aware. You can probably pronounce Kukendall, Manchaca and Boerne correctly. Go you
Mine said the same...I'm 51% texan

I scored 84%...lived in TX all my life (well, not yet I haven't). That was a fun quiz, although it was biased toward knowing a lot about Austin.

This would be much more of a Texas survey if it was about Texas instead of Austin and a little bit of Houston.

I scored a 77%......lived here my whole life....Don't know who the he11 Leslie Cochran is or what tht he11 local Austin politics really has to do with "being Texan". This quiz was obviously written by an Austinite with some ties to Houston. I guess it was mildly amusing but very shallow!

I also somehow missed the questions about West Texas and the Dallas/Ft. Worth area and the Panhandle and the Valley and East Texas. And what is "The Austin Parks and Recreation Dept." and what does it have to do with Texas........!?????????????

Maybe I'll write my own "How Texan are You?" test. Maybe I'll just cut back to decaf!

You're way more Texan than average. You're parents were probably from here too. We're glad to have you. You probably go to the border for Christmas shopping and are well versed in BBQ, Mexican Food and .. well thats pretty much it.
This was my score. My dad had a hoot when he heard this.

I do know a fair bit about Mexican food. I love tomatillos and the salsa verde they make. I also knew about the Yellow Rose, River Walk and a few others. I've never been anywhere near Texas, but I'm kind of a bookworm when it comes to reading about places with warmer climes. I learned about River Walk from a Texas Travel guide.

BTW what was "Texas, _____ Texas"? I picked "Our"

No, please do make your own test and post it here!

You could even convieniently exclude questions on Austin and Houston, if you want.
