Hello,I got this idea from other states forums so what do yall think of LA,OK,AR and NM?To be fair, I will now share my opinions of those states....I don't mean to offend. I do not like Oklahoma.....pretty much haven't my whole life.I don't know why. Do not like Arkansas either.....I have been there numerous times.I have not been to LA enough to form an opinion although I do think going to New Orleans would be interesting and fun. I used to love New Mexico but now I like other western states better. .Thanks.

I've never been to LA or AR. I like NM. I don't particularly like OK.

NM and southern LA have great food, colorful architectural heritage, unique terrain, and fun festivals.

OK, AR, and TX - not so much.

Haven't been to NM or OK.

Arkansas - lots of scenic beauty, but also lots of backwater

La - to me it feels like 3 regions
1) North - feels like the "old south"
2) South/Central/Acadiana - easy going, laid back
3) New Orleans - lots of good, but even more bad, didn't like

Louisiana - great food, terrible roads, gambling

Arkansas - closest mountain range, Hot Springs, hillbillies, Bill Clinton, Whitewater Scandal

Oklahoma - Football rivals, gambling, American Indians, open plains

New Mexico - No opinion good or bad

I haven't been to OK or AR enough to form much of an opinion. Having said that, I have no desire to ever go back to either state.

New Mexico--I will always have a love-hate relationship with that state, just as I do my own native Texas, LOL! Much of the scenery is stunningly beautiful, and you cannot beat the climate in the northwest corner--best in the country, and I miss that aspect of it. It's a real mix of positives and a lot of negatives.

Louisiana--love the food--and like NM, it's fun to visit. The climate is horrible all the way around! It's for visiting in the dead of winter, and no other time!

Only been through New Mexico as far as neighboring states to Texas goes. Wasnt there long enough to form an opinion. Further west I spent time in Arizona both winter and summer and loved it.

I love Arizona too and I too have spent time there during summer and winter but I think I like California better.

Im from Texarkana so Louisiana and Arkansas have always felt like what I consider home. I know southeast Oklahoma is beautiful but Im not familiar with the state overall. Don't know anything about New Mexico.
