One of the reasons texas is growing so fast,is beacuse they have the worst environmental record of any state. Yes they have less regulation than most states. at what cost?I would never live in a state that thinks growth should be more important than taking care of the environment.According to this report it looks like texans are already paying for it. go to www.austinchronicle.com/documents/Texas%20% look under A report for the Texas Legislative study group.

The lack of some regulation is going to haunt Texas. It is to blame for the tragedy in West and if we dont at least do something, other tragedies may occur.

Im not saying go overboard like they do in California, but some more basic regulations are in order.

If Elliot Shapleigh is behind this, I don't trust this data. I see bias and it probably will be Wendy Davis talking points.

Last thing Texas needs is liberal environmental laws and regs.

Good. Stay away and tell your fellow travelers to do the same.

Yep. Election stuff starting up early... lots of campaign money coming in from California. Something to keep in mind.
