Have you ever been driving along a neighborhood in a certain Texas city, and you get the feel that your in another city?

For example...There are parts of the Lower Greenville area that remind me of the Heights in Houston. Also, parts of River Oaks in Houston remind me of Lakewood in Dallas.

Do any of you see similarities? If so, where?

I was in a Lubbock neighborhood last weekend and it reminded me of areas of Clovis, NM.

Driving around Olmos Park reminds me of parts of Beverly Hills.

Parts of McAllen look just like Reynosa, Tamaulipas or Cd. Juarez, Chihuahua.

I agree. In some areas of either, one can easily imagine you are in the other city.
