WOW!! here is the video embedded for the lazies..



San Pedro Creek will blow the Trinity project and current Sabine-Shepherd stretch of Buffalo Bayou Park out of the water if it turns out anything like the video/plans linked above. what a way to reconnect with the water and your heritage. too bad Houston can't do more to control the tides/storm surges that its bayous are prone to so that we could develop along the waters edge like that. no telling how costly that would be though..

In my mind every Texan holds two places closest to his heart - their home town and San Antone.

Well for me its my hometown and Texas as a whole. I like a few things about every major city in Texas.

1. Hemisfair Park- 24/7 urban village & civic parks. Tricentennial premier 2018 celebrating the city's birthday.

2. $325 million convention center expansion.

3. Residential, commercial, civic development along the recently completed 15 mile Riverwalk expansion.

4. Museum Reach Riverwalk- 5th designated downtown arts district, ongoing development anchored by the new Tobin Center for the Performing Arts, SA Museum of Art, Southwest School of Art, and other art institutions.

5. Lower Broadway/Brackenridge Park district- residential development, civic development - 100 million plus Wittie Museum expansion along S.A. River, new $50 million Do Seum children's museum.
