They will likely stay in Arlington but both Fort Worth and Dallas will work hard to get them if they do want to leave Arlington. I'll say this, Dallas can handle it better since they have more transit options to get to the stadium.

Arlington is such a boring spot for an MLB stadium. It is perfect for the NFL, but you want more bars, clubs, and hotels within walking distance of an MLB stadium. Arlington is just a vast wasteland of parking lots and sprawling apartments.

Still a lot of Cardinals fans here, old enough to remember when there weren't any Rangers or Colt-45s. And the Houston Buffaloes were a Cardinal farm team. I'm one of them.

You know, I didn't realize how many cardinals fans there were until the 2011 WS. At the time I assumed bandwagon, but then somebody explained to me that their dad passed it on to them.

That's because Arlington is a suburb. No matter how many people it gets, it's STILL just a suburb.

There were always a ton of Cardinals fans at MMP during the early 00s when they faced each other in the playoffs a couple of times. They are one of the most storied franchises in baseball. They are going to have fans everywhere, especially in areas in and around the Great Plains.

Come on you "band wagon fans" the Astros today are tied for the best record in all of the American League! Where are you?

Yes, this probably won't last, it was not suppose to, this year. This was to be a competitive year for Houston. A year or two away at least, from being a contender. Houston already lost their short stop to injuries, their third best hitter, so this is how stuff goes, but for now/today it is fun. Go Astros.

Is it just me or has Houston made an effort to sway fans? ESPN runs the commercial all the time of James Harden from the Rockets working at NASA where Orbit gets lost in space. That commercial is what I think of now when I think of Houston area sports like the Astros. When I think of the Rangers, stuffy Jon Daniels comes to my mind. I know it wasn't long ago that we had the antlers shirts flying off the racks. It just feel different now.

I used to really make my Rangers friends mad when I talk about how the Astros will be better than us in a matter of time. I'm not saying they'll be in the playoffs this year, but they're a good looking team. As a life long Rangers fan, I think the Rangers window is quickly shutting, and the Astros window will be opening sooner than most think.
