Geez. I don't see the need to be snarky. Dee is obviously just proud that a hometown boy is doing good. Why the nasty attitudes?

He grew up in Nacogdoches and played for Nacogdoches High School.

THat is cool. It makes it more fun to cheer for a team when you have a connection. We love soccer here. We have an amazing HS team for a small country town and have only had a soccer program for 10 years.

It is pretty cool to know someone like that. I just found out the other day that the son of a guy I worked with and knew very well, is now playing in the National Hockey League (but not on a team that made the playoffs).
