Pretty cool except the price! It is going to be shown on Dateline NBC in a few minutes.

Tesla seems to need a constant GMesque influx if cash to stay alive right now.

This could be laughable if they had really even cranked up production to this point.

It sounds like they have adequate power and adequate range, and supposedly only takes 8 hours to be fully charged from a 15A 110VAC outlet.
But then, what will the range be at 10 below zero, in a snowstorm, with lights, heater/defroster, and windshield wipers on? Or, in a summer rainstorm, with A/C, lights, and windshield wipers on?
Now if they could just get the price down to one quarter or one third of a year's income, instead of 2 year's income.

Don't forget about the stereo. Mine can kill my car's battery in less than 5 minutes.

Don't get too excited yet, it is at least two years away. The company says it's 90% complete on the outside, 40% complete on the inside.....

I didn't even know Tesla was still around..... man in their day that band ROCKED!

What? ohh. Never mind.

Seriously, I don't know if this particular car will ever make it to 'real' production with the economy as is, but i think it can raise some eyebrows on what can be done in the auto world. There are some very solid ideas and input on this car; some that could really help the big boys enter the next generation of autos with a renewed enthusiasm of what they are building and selling.
Just thank the auto lords that someone didn't try to invent an electric Vega instead...
