What is the name of these gorgeous trees. Looks like a bonsai tree... . About 3-4 feet tall and a mass of small limbs bending over just full of small purplish flowers..

Could it be a young or dwarf weeping cherry? They're usually lighter pink or white but seems like I've seen dark purple sometimes.

Could it be a Redbud tree? Despite the name it has purple flowers. Here, north of Chattanooga, they are starting to fade.

I thought Redbuds were more of a fushia purple-pink, at least that is how they are in Arkansas.

I thought of redbuds too. Ours are purple more than red here. Maybe it depends on the area they are growing??

It's got to be an Eastern Redbud tree since they are in full flower right now and are seen along just about every Tennessee highway and pasture..
