Oh without a doubt. I have lived in South Florida since 1977. My parents bought their first house there. I have pictures where you could see for at least a mile and only see a couple of houses.

So at the rate TN is growing if the roads do not keep up there will be a mess. One advantage up there compared to here is the area can grow in a circle, well unless there is a mountain but even then you can build there.

In florida you have a 20 mile sliver to build and there is no more. Ocean on one side everglades on the other.

Which is why despite the gloom and doom of the real estate market, I know values will continue to rise. Hopefully when the market picks up I can bail out.

I am from Chicago as well, I received my job offer by negotiating the location, with certain positions this will work. How are you finding Nashville vs. Chicago?
