I am 22 years old and currently live in Illinois. I have an interview with a job in Largo, but all of the apartments I have found lack the young feel and all seem to be older, or senior living. I have found a complex at Post Rocky Point in Tampa and it says its only about a 22 minute drive to Largo but I have a feeling with traffic it may be alot more. Are there any "young" complexes near the USF St.Pete campus???

i think you will be much happier in tampa. and i have friends that live or have lived at post rocky point and absolutely loved it. it's a bit pricey though.

as for the commute, it's mostly over the bridge and shouldnt be bad at all. most of the traffic goes the other way.

Post Rocky Point is a little bit pricier but has everything Im looking for. I did find one complex.....Promenade at Carillon.....which is in St. Pete and it is close to both the school and the job. Do you happen to know about this one? But I have noticed through my searches, even though St. Pete is cheaper, it doesnt seem to offer as much as Tampa does.

I don't know any of your apts. that your mentioning. But I think you will find that the traffic in Tampa is ridicules. I'd stay in Largo, St. Pete, or Clearwater side of the Bay.

I would look in Carillon if I were you. It is close to the bridge to Tampa, but nearer to Largo and you wouldn't have to worry about traffic so much every morning. If there is an accident on the bridge, you will be late. That area (Carillon) has younger people than Largo and Seminole. It is also just a hop to I-275 which can take you north to Tampa or South to downtown St. Pete which has a lot to offer as well. Good luck!

I'd look in Clearwater. Commuting from Tampa to Largo would be a long drive.
