I'd 2nd Fishhawk, that area and East on 640 would be the only areas that I'd want to raise my children in the Bay Area.

Unincorporated Seminole. Specifically south of Walsingham, north of 102 and either subdivision on either side of 137.

Safety Harbor is one of the best locations to live if you have children. Good schools, strong sense of community, TONS to do year-round, and loads of nice families. I've lived in Tampa (Carrolwood, Town and Country, Davis Islands, and the Citrus Park/Westchase area - we moved A LOT when I was a kid), Clearwater, and Spring Hill, and Safety Harbor is, by far, the nicest location we've been in. Check us out.

I would live in Palm Harbor. Oh wait....I do.

There are homes available in the price point and some nice ones at that. However, more than not will be more than that and many by a substantial amount. Inventory is down and prices are up here.

Palm Harbor offers GREAT schools, excellent location to the gulf, shopping, dining, low crime and great homes. Access to TPA is very reasonable (east of 19 is ideal). Traffic on the east side is very very manageable.

Palm Harbor = SWEET!
