Any Engineers out there that can tell me about the job opportunities for a recently graduated EE with ME minor and security clearance. I just want to know if my husband can expect to land a job right away or if the jobs are scarce in the area for engineers.... he always says dont worry but "worry" is my middle name and its expensive out there! Any advice on places to look?

Check out Raytheon, General Dynamics, L3, or SRI. There's quite a few defense contracting gigs around here - especially with options at MacDill. Already having clearance is a huge help.

I second the Raytheon, as they use to have lots of EE's when I worked there. Also there is Sypris and lockhead martin in tampa as well.

Thank you for the responses. All the job losses on the news is scary since he will be looking for a job along with everyone else. Looks like Florida Job losses are just as bad as michigan where we are coming from! Anyhow, Thanks again.
