What's there to do around here in the St. Petersburg, Clearwater, Tampa area? (Seminole: movies)

I moved here with my gf, now fiance about 4-5 months ago. I've been fortunate enough to find a good stable job and my GF is going to school. We are originally from Atlantic City, NJ and gambling was something we did during our spare time when we weren't busy with anything else sadly. We are in our mid 30s and basically we are starting that bad habit of going gambling here at Seminole Hard Rock because there's really nowhere to go and it's the only place that has the game she likes - Baccarat. Moving here, I thought we'd be able to get away from the bad habit, but we are right back at it. The reason we do it because we aren't sure what else there is to do during our spare time or weekends that will keep us busy and excited.

We don't do bars or nightclubs. Also, I have to add she doesn't drink, only I do. My woman is kind of tired of going to the movies as well. We constantly check out different restaurants, but that gets boring after a while and also quite expensive.

My question to all is, what does everyone around here do for fun during the weekends or time off? Something that's different, exciting, and safe? Or doesn't even have to be exciting. I would appreciate any insight on this. Thanks.
