Hi, we want to move closer to work in the North Saint Pete area. She works in North St Pete and I work in South Tampa. I don't really mind commuting and I know she wants to be the one to stay closer to home.

We are moving from a brand new good sized house in the middle of nowhere to an apartment. Our time frame staying at an apartment is 12-24 months and our price range is around $1200 for a 2 br/2 bath and both have excellent credit, and have money for deposit. We are a young professional couple who have a small (10lbs) house broken non- barking dog and are looking for something semi-urban with its conveniences, yet laid back in a nice neighborhood. We are not very big into partying but like to entertain every now and then. Here is the preliminary came up with. Does anyone have any experience living in any of these apartments? or any positives/negatives about living in these areas? Any other recommendations? We've been in the Tampa Bay area for over 5 years, so we know the general area but don't have any living experience here. Thanks in advance!

Default North St. Pete Apartments

Hello!
Not familiar with the apartments you listed but you should check Bel Air Apartments. I've know the place for over a year, and haven't seen any problems, or at least problems I would consider important such as noise, crime, etc. Pet friendly, 4 nice big pools. Two BR is around $950. Here is a photo.

Hi! I noted that you posted this thread some time ago but actually my husband and I are in the same situation, looking for 2/2 apartment in NE Saint Petersburg. Did you find a good place? What will you recommend? Thank you

If you like the charm of a historic neighborhood and being close to Downtown St. Pete (which has a very different feel than Tampa, more artsy and less partyish than Hyde park of Tampa) you may want to take a drive around Old northeast in St. Pete.

Old NE area is right across the bridge from Snell isle, east of 4th street and I'd say between 10th ave N and 38th ave N. Closer to Coffee Pot Bayou you get the nicer the homes get (naturally of course).
