It took you 15 years to realize this?

I seem to notice this same "Spring Hillian" person is known for being argumentative if anyone badmouths this area or talks about low pay / low standard of living. I wish he / she would lose the attitude sometimes.

I wish people would post factual information instead of "everybody makes $10 an hour". Low standard of living? Where you from? Beverley Hills, CA?

I have a niece who has been with Wendy's for 2 years. $10.25 an hour. She's 18.
Her first job. I guess if the best you can do is fast food or mop a floor then yeah, you will make the same lousy wage here just like anywhere else.

Whatever it takes to dispel bull.

BTW

Curtis Reeves' trial - Now the Pre-Trial is set for Feb 2017.
If you read the depositions (which arent on line anymore due to defendants Motion that depositions dont have to be filed now) you would have an understanding of the facts as given by witnesses which greatly differs from the media reports at the beginning. The depositions of the witnesses make it very clear as to what actually happened that day.

Nothing wrong there. I know people who would be happy to get ANY job right about now and yes, college educated.

I worked three jobs right out of college in order to make a living. Full time M-F 9-5, aerobics instructor, and cocktail waitress on Friday and Saturday night.

The bottom line is you have to do whatever you can to pay your bills.

If you live in Florida and can't find a job in the salary range you want, get a second job until your dream job does open up.

I believe that a lot of people want $20 an hour plus benefits to start even if they dont have any
experience or skills an employer needs. Some seem to think that because they have a college degree the are owed that $20 an hour so they can pay some of the student debt back. If you work 2 jobs, 12 hours a day (8 + 4), 6 days a week at $9.00 an hour you will earn about $650 a week or $34,000a year. It takes ambition to reach goals.
