You guys are awesome! I've gotten some responses to a few posts, so I thought I'd post another one and see what people think.

It has been suggested by a few folks that I look for a place in St. Pete since it seems like I would fit in well there. (Single F, 37, professional, pup who means the world to me, educated, employed, down-to-earth, enjoys the outdoors, arts, culture, etc.)

Is it easier to get to UT from St. Pete or from Largo? I saw a place I might be interested in located in Largo. It's been quite a while since I've been to the area, so I really don't know about what's up with the traffic, other than it being terrible. I won't need to commute every day, so at least I won't want to pull my hair out all week. It will finally be that point in my life where I won't have to "bust my butt" every day of the week, all year long. Yeah.

Any suggestions?

You guys rock. Thanks for all the great info.

K

It is much easier to get from st pete to UT daily. It's not so horrible to get there from Largo, and if you are not doing it daily in rush hour, so much the better. You can be really close to the beaches in Largo, and there are some really nice spots you can walk your pup. However although I live that way, I'd rather be in St Pete, it's got so much more for someone your age and interest. If you are looking to rent or buy there are plenty of options.
