I am relocating to Tampa for my job and I am looking for a great place to live. budget is 720.00 a month. I am 32 so I am pretty much over the club scene but I kind of want to be able to walk or cab it to any bars if I decide to go out for a few beers. I am also a huge Buckeye, Browns, and Cavalier fan. So if anyone can point me in the right direction I would greatly appreciate it.

Check out Carollwood. A friend of mine live up there close the Home Depot and is very happy with the place. Right off Dale Mabry. Lot's of places to eat, shop, and such. Drive to work would be nice and quite a bit happening. Not the club scene, although some restaurants have a nice crowd in your age group.

I read your post about being over the club scene, it's different there. Nice Irish Pub off of Northdale would for music, your age group, and the bar tender is a lot of fun (great older Irish Lady).

Let me know how it goes! I am moving from Columbus to Tampa in February. Will be working in Largo, but wife will work in Tampa, so I agreed to life on the Tampa bay side.

There are places around Oldsmar and Citrus Park that make it pretty easy getting to the Southern end of the Veterans Expressway and it is a straight shot across the I-275 into St Pete. Time of day for work may cause some traffic, but it moves pretty steady for the most part.

I have already located a browns backers club and also an OSU alumni club in the area. From what I have found out Carrollwood is a decent side of town too live on.
