We have to drive to NC this weekend to get my vehicle but the following weekend we are thinking about trying out the casino. Is it expensive to eat and get a few drinks there?

Depends and yes. Small weak drinks with top shelf range around $10. As far as eating, it ranges from an affordable food court to expensive steakhouse, with a couple other restaurants in between.

Whiskey North can get pretty "hood"... Blue Martini is more for people in their 30s and up and tends to filter out most riff raff.

Well, lets be honest... You moved to BFE. Did you expect to be close to everything?

Maniac, very true, in my defense its all the hubbys fault and Im sticking to that, lol!!! The week we came down to house hunt I ended up in the ER 2 out of 5 days with an ulcer in my eye and couldnt see a thing. I only left the hotel one time other than going to the ER. SO SO glad we are renting for the first year before we buy. We were just so short on time we are happy to have found such a nice house in our price range so I cant complain. Gonna go to Ukulele's tonight, I do like the atmosphere there

You will not like Whiskey North. It's ghetto. Stick to Blue Martini. Older crowd with money. It's not cheap in there!
