Hey everyone, I moved to Largo a few months ago. I moved here due to a family member passing, and wanting to be closer to my mother. Im 33 single, and looking for things to do I guess lol. What are different things going on that are interesting or fun? Art events, coffee shops, brew pubs, places to meet people (a nice young lady, or some new friends in general). Also any groups that do active things, in Honolulu (where I used to live) there was some kickball leagues and what not. What are some popular spots also? I like the Clearwater area a lot, and have not ventured into St. Pete. just yet.

Thanks everyone and hello.

also, Im looking for a gym to lift at, a place that I can use chalk, deadlift, and make a sound without setting off alarms. I was looking at Lionheart gym in Pinellas park as an example.

Welcome Tscal - sorry to hear about your loss, your mum will be glad you came here. Pick up today's paper Tampa Bay Times, there are usually lots of things going on and are advertised in the Weekend section today. Its worth taking a subscription or online subs for the paper, I like paper best, easier to navigate (and discard useless sections!)
If you can afford a gym, worth a try. I'm much older, so younger 'kids' on here will give you more ideas I am sure.

Best of luck to you

There are many colleges campuses spread out so I'm sure you will find what you are looking for. Good luck in your new home and sorry for your loss as well-
