There are a FEW nice areas on the gulf in NPR and just east of Little road that are much nicer than the run down hoods with small 2 bedroom homes.

I have a very good job offer there. I know there are business people , professors, lawyers , doctors, teachers that work in the area. Where do they live ? Isn't there anything positive about the area ?

A nice area of homes is Stonegate and Concord Station. They are close the the Sun Coast PKWY (which is about 10 miles from the intersection of 19 and 54). A few lights but really not that many to slow you down very much.
