So the only significance is lower inventory and prices are holding - so why are fewer potential sellers putting their properties on the market if they know prices are holding?
Probably due to waiting for the end of the school year to put their homes on the market, as that is when homebuyers are likely to look. Particularly those with children that may move into a school district for the schools or looking in particular city neighborhoods.
