Job market here is not great, but not nearly as badly hit as some areas. St Louis has a light rail system and a bus system. It's not nearly as extensive as places like NYC, but it's pretty nice given the size of the city in my opinion. You'd pretty much have to live in the city/select near suburbs to use it. Most people own cars here.
