...from Memphis. I was looking at the forecast, I can't tell if it's gonna be a significant snow event or not. Do yall think there will be any accumulation? Do you think the roads will be bad from Memphis to St. Louis?

I've been driving all over Illinois this past week. As long as it's snow and not freezing rain, should be fine.

So will it just be a typical winter's day in St. Louis? Roads will be ok? people will be out?

You'll be fine. If it snows at all, it won't be any amount worth fretting about. Roads will be ok. Yes, people will be out. They drive like tools irrespective of the weather conditions, but they will be out!

Have a safe trip, and watch your speed - the fuzzies are out to make year-end ticket quotas.

Update: The trip only took 4 hours. The roads were completely clear most of the way, but there were a few slick spots in St. Louis, nothing bad though. The snow was nice to see, we haven't had any in Memphis yet.

Unrelated observations:
We went exploring a little bit, in the Ladue area, and I saw the biggest houses I've ever seen in my life. They were insane. There are tons of really really nice areas in the St. Louis area.

Women in St. Louis are very good-looking. There seems to be a higher proportion of blondes. That's a good thing.

Glad you liked St. Louis! I hope you come back soon and explore some more.

Nice interesting article! thanks. And yes, I will be back soon. I've actually been 3 times in the past couple of months, but I explored/observed more on this last trip. I bring different friends from Memphis every time, and they love it. We like exploring/experiencing new cities. I even have friends saying they wanna live here. We'll drive past a nice house and they'll claim it as their house, haha.
