I am going to St. Louis this weekend and am seeking Fun stuff to do. I am scheduled to see a Cards game....and that's always a treat. How about bumper cars, miniature golf, family rifle range or billiard parlor ( a NICE billiard parlor! ). I have also taken the brewery tour and that was fun, too. So, what do you think?

Though places with bumper cars, mini golf, and rifle ranges exist in St Lou... the bulk are out west, a good 30 minutes from downtown. THat being said, none of them are particularly outstanding.

If you are staying downtown and plan to hit a Card's game and the brewery... you may want to consider other downtown attractions perhaps. A trip up the Arch is a must if you have never been and the St Louis City Museum is unlike anything else you have ever seen!! Awesome for kids AND adults: CITY MUSEUM- Home (http://www.citymuseum.org/home.asp - broken link)

We also have an awesome zoo (which is free and 10 minutes from downtown) and a fantastic science center (also free and 10 minutes from downtown).

Are you traveling with kids? If so, what age?? We have a number of attractions specific for younger children (Magic House and Grant's Farm) that are also worth a slightly longer drive from downtown. Affordable and truly unique.

I'll also be visiting St. Louis in the next month. One site I have found invaluable planning my trip is St. Louis, MO: Visitor Information & Travel Planning Resources (http://www.explorestlouis.com/visitors/index.asp - broken link). It has a ton of information. Hats off to the folks who made this site.

I absolutely LOVE the St. Louis Zoo. There is nothing to describe it other than VERY VERY AWESOME (and the free admission is terrific.) I was amazed at how terrific the zoo is the first time I went. Every time we come to MO to visit family, the Zoo is a MUST DO!!!
