Hi,
We bought a house in Des Peres and are looking for a good montessori school for my 4yr old. I am planning to put her in montessori till end of kindergarten.
I googled and found that Hope Montessori Desperes, Kirkwood Childrens House and Villademaria fall in to our vicinity. Any idea about how good or bad these schools are? Any help is greatly appreciated.

Our three-year-old has been at Villa di Maria for a few months, and we have had a very positive experience. She loves it. Her teacher is great and has been really responsive whenever we've had questions. The school also strives for a community feeling, but it does not place too much pressure on parents to participate in activities if they have time constraints. I'd definitely recommend that you visit and see what you think.

My daughter is in Mrs. Milos's class.

I'm afraid I don't know much about the other schools you mentioned--they were on our list of possibilities, but we didn't investigate them much before we visited Villa di Maria visit and loved it.

Good luck!
