You can only choose 3.
My favorite would be University City, Clayton and Webster Groves.

I forgot Webster Groves on the poll ironically

My favorites are Maryland Heights (soft spot because I used to live there- and Lake Creve Coeur is gorgeous- it's a fab place to live), Creve Coeur, University City, and in fourth and fifth would be Webster Groves and Kirkwood.

Oh and not that it's amongst my favorites- but it's spelled Bellefontaine Neighbors btw... I know St. Louisans pronounce it Bellafountain though. I also noticed Ferguson wasn't on the list? That little 'town' is working really hard to improve it's image, it's main street on Florissant has a lot of untapped potential!

I'm not really a fan of any of them, but I can tolerate the inner ring the best, hence my vote for Clayton.

U.City, no doubt about it. Clayton, Maplewood, Webster Groves, and Kirkwood would round out the top 5.

Pasadena Hills is actually super pretty and overlooked as well (and not on the list). You'd be AMAZED how gorgeous Pasadena Hills is if you haven't been there!

Hmmm... tough call. For one, even though I really like Clayton, use to hit up two wine stores there practically religiously, I can't help but wish it didn't exist... or more specifically that it was transported east and merged with downtown so we could have one much stronger central business district rather than the fighting, decentralized competition we have today.

Otherwise, inner ring suburbs in general tend to get my vote, but I also want to give a shout out to Belleville over on the IL side which has been dramatically reworking itself with the overwhelming majority of the focus being on its "downtown's" main street with some very positive results. A nice mini model to follow in this one regard.

You forgot my hometown of Alton.
Yes, it's farther than some but is still Madison County and many do commute.
I voted for Edwadsville and would also vote for Maryland Heights since I lived there and loved it along with voting for Clayton.
