While I hear your frustration, they have to show the games that pull in the ratings because that is how they get paid.
All the teams have local contracts for their local teams to show games. Outside of people's local teams, people usually only want to see the games that feature the big stars and the bigger markets so that is what they show.
well its bull. Its gets boring and ANNOYING hearing Bankees this and RED Sux that. I mena come on already. They need diversity

I dislike the ESPN megalomania as much as anyone, but there is one very important reason why they get so much coverage: they have more fans than your favorite team. As a "Red Sux fan" (brilliant, original and creative twist on their name I might add) I would MUCH rather watch games on NESN than ESPN or FOX, because that means not having to listen to Joe Morgan or Tim McCarver spout all sorts of nonsense for four hours.
There are hundreds of channels...find another one.
If I had a regional channel that carried the Detroit Tigers, I would be all over that. I do get the Reds though, so that is good I guess.
same here. I live in Buffalo TBS used to televise the Braves, now TBS is doing what u know THE RED SUX. Sometimes they play the cards or phillies but most of the time just like FOX its the RED SUX. How ironic?
I was done with ESPN when they said Eto'o had scored ____ many goals for the nigerian national team...They know nothing about football and it sucks they are doing the premier league
and LaLiga and possibly the Bundesliga.
not good for football in the us, get ready for the constant bottom line, sportscenter in game, and crappy announcers with their run-on , storybook play by play.
ESPN is a great source for mis information. Just today they informed Bob Stoops that he has lost 6 of the last 7 against Texas, which is totally false. Bob responded with "well we haven't lost 6 of the last 7 so I'm not sure where that figure comes from" (OU has won 6 of the last 9, lost 3 of the last 4) LOL. He totally pwned that sorry azz mizzou alum 'caster.
Then to top it off, while the interview is going, they have a scroll across the bottom of the screen saying "OU vs Texas, Oct 13 12 pm est ABC" Wrong again jacka.ss, if your going to plug your sister networks' national game get the date right!! It's Oct 17th. At least they had the correct start time. heres the link ESPN - First Take - ESPN
(its the 2009 Oklahoma preview on the right hand side of the page, if anyone is interested, I give it 5 stars)
I can only imagine the jerkoffs they have working behind the scenes up there in CT. Obviously alot of no nuthin dips.hits
