I would like to know if anybody follow wrestling back in these years and which would you think as your favorite, (NWA Jim Crockett, Jr. era), WWF, AWA, WCCW, or other?
also which area were you living in when you were watching??
for me it was NWA #1 then WWF, AWA and WCCW i figure a tie
I loved the great american bashes the ones that lasted the summer
im was then in the location of Charlotte, North Carolina of course
I was in the Midwest and followed AWA...but we had gotten cable in '81 so Georgia Championship wrestling was pretty cool with the likes of Buzz Sawyer and Junkyard Dog...all the bad guys were from the midwest...just the opposite of AWA.
