Nice pics, and grats on the hole in one! I've played since I was 8 or 9 and never had an ace. Those suckers can be very fickle. lol
Took me about 25 yrs of golfing to get one. 9 HCP. Lipped out one or two......but the one I got was with a mayor (in Germany - they call them Burgermeisters) and a good friend on a tough, long hole on a German course I lived on while in the Army. Enjoyable time back then.......got another one on an executive course w/ my dad, short PW shot. He was excited, but since the course wasn't a legit, full length course, I don't really count that one.
Not my pic but I was this close on a 173 yd par 3...I hit it knew I had a chance at one and I ran up to the hole before anyone could tee off and this is what I saw...
double eagle just now at the players .. they also called it an albatross ... iv`e seen two holes in one myself ... one was stuck against a wind blown flag till the player got to the green then the wind released and it fell in .. the other was a slam dunk ...
