Yes it’s good news indeed.
Novak Djokovic has missed a lot of events due to his vaccination stance.
In the meantime, quarter finals and semifinals on in Madrid at the moment.
Alcaraz trying to defend his title in the mens.
Swiatek also trying to win the womens.

I'm interested to see how history views this. If Novak does end up with the most majors, it would be hard to not see the ones he missed out of principle as some sort of virture. If he ends up tied or somehow falls short, the narrative is more likely about how he harmed his own career by skipping events out of refusing a shot in the arm.
Not trying to be political, but agree or disagree with what he did, the "winners" tend to be better able to defend and justify their choices.

There’ll be no asterisks in the history books.
I’m a Djokovic fan, but you don’t win any big titles in absentia. (Nadal too has missed plenty of events due to injuries)
John McEnroe for instance went 82-3 in 1984, one of the best seasons in the Open Era, but still missed the AO due to suspension. (due to the infamous Stockholm outburst)
Nobody but a hardcore tennis fan would actually remember that.
In the meantime the Madrid Masters finals have now been determined.
The womens has 1 vs 2, Swiatek vs Sabalenka, a dream final.
The mens has the number 1 seed and defending champion Alcaraz, up against a surprise finalist and lucky loser Jan-Lennard Struff.
Very different finals, but great for tennis.

Better to harm his career than his health. Novak is very health conscious about the food he eats and his wife says he exercises all day long. I'm sure he has the best medical experts money can buy telling him not to take the harmful vaccine and treasures his health more than having won more major tournaments than any other player.
