Djoker vs Nishikori tomorrow in Toronto.
Djoker was impressive against Monfils and would be heavily favored to win this, but Kei has nothing to lose and trying to get his first Masters.
Novak should be too good imo.
Good win for Djokovic at the Canada Masters/Rogers Cup, even with the weakened field. With the concerns about his health and some of his early round struggles during the tournament, it was hard to know what to expect from the Serbian. But with his fairly straightforward wins over Monfils in the semifinals and Nishikori in the finals, he addressed many of those questions.
Now it's off to the Olympics in Brazil. One has to think Djokovic, Murray, and possibly Nadal will be the favorites for gold in Rio. It will be interesting to see if/how playing in Toronto impacts Djokovic and some of the other medal contenders like Nishikori and Milos Raonic relative to guys who skipped Canada like Murray and Nadal.

I reckon we may see many of those that do compete in Rio, skipping Cincy as well, so a real mixed bag at the moment.
2012 Bronze medalist, Juan Martin del Potro has drawn Djoker in the 1st Round!
Very bad luck to him with all his injuries, his ranking has plummeted and this could happen.
In the meantime there is still a 250 on in Atlanta, local hero John Isner (who went to college in Georgia) would be the favorite there now.
Nick Kyrgios, who bypassed the Olympics along with countryman Bernard Tomic, is the 2nd seed and up against Jared Donaldson right now. (looking like a routine victory as we speak)
I'm massively bummed about the Djokovic loss (though not totally surprised; Juan Martin del Potro is a tough first round opponent and he had a significant advantage IMO playing in the Olympics - where nationality is more important than in other events - as a South American from nearby Argentina), but Djoker can make up for that by winning Cincinnati and becoming the first male player to complete the career Masters Slam.
It's clear the draws have opened up in both men's singles and women's doubles. No one can say the Olympics tennis tournament will be straightforward this year.
I am as usual pleased to see Djokovic lose (sorry to his fans...). DelPo was motivated, his forehand was crazy good and he had the crowd on his side as Chip said. It did irritate me a little that the atmosphere was more like a soccer match than tennis...not that I need things to be as polite as Wimbledon, but it felt odd. It didn't seem like either player cared that much though and I'm sure del Po enjoyed it.
I'd be happy if Nadal medaled at all. Hard to tell what his form is really like. He's admitted to not being 100% and I guess the scoreboard lighting bothers him too...?
