This is Raonic's opportunity to win a Grand Slam before the three youngsters growing stronger.

Um.....did you forget Djokovic? He's out of Wimbledon, not dead.

This is the first Grand Slam in like a decade (except the whole Nishikori-Cilic thing) without Federal, Nadal, or Djokovic, the three men still in the running to become the GOAT.

Coincidentally, at this same Wimbledon, we had the same Nishikori-Cilic rematch with the same result.

Here's hoping Raonic can serve his way into his 1st Major final over Federer, Murray should beat perennial gatekeeper Tomas Berdych - who always seems to fall at the penultimate step. (bar his one major final at Wimby 2010, which he lost to Nadal)
Women's final. Tomorrow afternoon 2PM London, 9AM EST. Go Angelique.

I think that Federer had a pretty good overall tournament given his injury earlier this year and the time he missed, especially when you consider his age. If he can stay healthy and continue playing regularly he might be able to make another deep run and just get lucky enough in the next year but I think that is unlikely, unfortunately.

I'm glad there is a fresh face to a major final, although I think Murray is going to win it at the end of the day. I hope that a few of the younger guys(Thiem/Zverev) can make a deep run soon and possibly get a little luck in the end but I also want to see Del Potro fully recover as well as Nishikori staying healthy and consistent.

Default Serena Williams Wins Wimbledon, Tying Record for Grand Slam Singles Titles

WIMBLEDON, England — Serena Williams tied the Open era record for Grand Slam singles titles, gaining her 22nd with a 7-6, 6-3 victory over Angelique Kerber at Wimbledon on Saturday.

Williams not only matched Steffi Graf’s number of major championships, but also avenged a loss to Kerber at the Australian Open final this year.

Williams, 34, has insisted that “22 has never been my goal,” but despite reaching three Grand Slam finals in a row this year, she wanted more from her season.

Serena's serve was on point today. Best I've seen it. Faced her only break point of the day, and wiped it away with two aces before finishing off the set. Final set... first three points are aces... amazing.

Gerber played really well... but just could not hang with the serve.

Congrats to both of them.

If there is a Murray vs. Federer final, I bet that Djokovic and Nadal are cheering for Murray as him adding another Grand Slam or for that matter, 7 more, has zero threat to their legacies.
