I wouldn't really call the brawl in Detroit as unsportsmanlike, it had zero to do with sports or the game. You toss a beer in someones face you get what you get. They should have let the players beat down the the fools tossing beer. Lotta 'tough' guys hiding behind a crowd and a cup.
Of course it is, JonasW. The fans threw stuff on the court which is not very good sportsmanship. Ron Artest shoves a boy in the black shirt that Artest thought that he was the one that threw a cup on him.
For me the most unsportsmanlike moment in sports both happened in soccer.
1. The Zinedine Zidane headbutt. The best player in the world at the time in the second most watched sports game of the year (more than Superbowl) headbutted another player on the field. Although it wasn't bad it was a super important game.

3. Most shocking and disgusting was when a Brazilian third league team fans beheaded the referee in front of fans after he killed a player by stabbing him.

Also do to how passionate fans are and how many people play the sport their have been different incidents in the sports history were dozens of fans have been murdered, people have shot each other and parts of cities burned in riots. Personally my mom has seen a game were people rioted in the stands and a few people died in a stampede.
For those of you who are into pro bowling, go to the match between Randy Pedersen and Ernie Schlegel in 1995. Schlegel's celebration was the most classless thing I've ever seen.
