A person likes a certain sports team. But the team gets beat badly in a big game, especially against a rival. The next day that fan purposely wears team apparel (hat, jersey, etc). Isn't doing that a bit sadomasochistic?

I like the Steelers in '75 I only like the Broncos when they come alive Like the Redskins in '83 And when the Dolphins are playin' well Well, yeah well they're the team for me 'Cause I'm Fairweather Johnson Yeah, yes I'm Fairweather Johnson I like the Braves in '95
I wear my Phillies Jerseys whenever, doesn't matter if the team is winning or losing - it's my team. I don't respect people who wear the jerseys of champions right after victory.

this. while i dont wear sports stuff normally, i still support my teams regardless of their winning or losing. for instance, i have been a cowboys fan since 1972. i watched them win 5 super bowls and lose three. i watched them also have back to back 1-15 seasons, as well as not have a winning season now since what 2009? yet i still support them, and always will.
