True. She's a great talent though. Looks like Canadian tennis is on a roll with Bouchard & Raonic. But Kvitova was different class today. Nobody would have stopped her on that performance.

Some fairly harsh comments about Eugenie, something I more expect from my own compatriots who don't like anyone being successful - ie the " tall poppy syndrome".
Whilst I don't follow the WTA tour as closely as the ATP tour, Eugenie has generated plenty of interest in the women's game, and not just because she is young and attractive either.
But well done to Kvitova, she is a fine grass court player, even if she disappoints outside of this surface.

If Djokovic wins this then good for him, he has played well.

Whatever the result, I'm not returning to this thread.

Federer was at the brink of losing, battled back to tie up the match at 2-2 sets. Incredible

I thought Federer was gonna pull through after that 4th set comeback, great mental toughness by Novak to keep his composure and pull it out. Classic match, congrats to both players.

I feel that Federer was underdog and playing catching up from the beginning. I am impressed how he stayed alive and close to on even field with Djokovic. The result was expected, at least for me, from the beginning.
