No, Good point... I never leave my doors unlocked... and I never leave my car unlocked or running. Even if I run into a convenience store or the like... It's just dumb... Why risk it?!

Most places, especially in small towns you can leave your doors unlocked, but some places you can't. Just depends.

I grew up in a small town (population 250)... My parents always locked their doors... Like I said, why risk it? Better to be safe than sorry!

Go with Rapid over Omaha! Eastern plains are bitterly cold, Hills are gorgeous, if you're concerned about education get your kids into schools on the westside of Rapid...also, you're only about six hours from Denver and the Rockies, Yellowstone and the Big Horn Mountains are close by in Wyoming.
