There is a good possibility we may be moving to Watertown within the next few months. I have been to the museum, waterpark, zoo, and mall, but other than that I don't know a whole lot about the town. I would love to have info on the schools since currently have a 3rd grader and kindergartner. I know that there are a few different elementary schools and I was wondering if anyone has opinions on which is the best, which to avoid, etc. The school that our children attend will be a big factor in the purchase of our home.
Thanks so much!

I have been through Watertown and I am not familiar with their schools. Most cities in South Dakota have respectable and safe schools, granted there are a few wild kids (but that is with any school). Watertown, in general, is a safe city with low crime.

Thanks so much! I guess we can't go wrong wherever we settle then. We currenlty live in IL, near St. Louis and we have 5 elementary schools. We didn't do our research when we moved here. Although are school is okay, I would have chosen a different home near a different school had I known more. I just didn't want to make that mistake again if there were big differences in the schools there.
