From the site plan Lidl looks like it will be next to the Crosscreek Connector across 72 from the mall and the new Chick-Fil-A.
I wouldn't expect to see these stores until late 2017 or 2018. I don't even think they have their distribution center going yet or other infrastructure like distributors/manufactures for their products. Could be a while yet.
There have been a number of new, small businesses opened on Crosscreek Connector recently, including the newly re-built Sports Break after the old one burned down. That could be a prime location for a store like Lidl.

You are correct. Lidl #1126 is locating at 425 Bypass 72 Northwest, Greenwood, South Carolina 29649-1405.
I'd like to add the Asian Market on Montague near the Bypass. It's a small family owned store but it's given me more choices of vegetables and other staples at low prices. There is another Asian grocery store but at the moment I don't know where it's at.
There are also at least 2 Mexican stores, a small one on S. I-25 and a bigger one on E. Cambridge. There's also the Uptown Market on Maxwell St.

Supermarket BI-LO #5555, 712 Bypass 25 Northeast, Greenwood, South Carolina 29646-3030, located at the northeast corner of Bypass 25 Northeast and Emerald Road in the city of Greenwood, is becoming another Southeastern Grocers banner, Harvey's Supermarket.
Trying to figure out what a "Harvey's" is exactly....are they a discount food market similar to Save ALot?
It seems like they are using a rebranding strategy to stimulate sales at poor performing Bi-Lo stores. Same company, different name. Not sure how successful this attempt may be. It is also being tried at a former Bi-Lo location in Charlotte, now rebranded Harvey's.

The banner of a store may change, but Southeastern Grocers' regions and district remain the same with one or more banners. Brand specialists may exist specializing in BI-LO, Fresco Y Más, Harvey's Supermarket, or Winn-Dixie.
