Canada has looked pretty good this year. Their defense is solid and they have a goal-dangerous winger in Alphonso Davies. It wouldn't surprise me if they make it to the World Cup. Meanwhile, the USMNT doesn't really possess a Donovan or a Dempsey. Yet. Granted, Christian Pulisic is very good, but he's more of a midfield player.

That huge HIT from Pul on the goal post would have made the diffrence last nite.
The USA Mens Team ADDED to the ROSTER the Miami Inter player Robbie Roberson. Immediately after he got back from the FLASH FLIGHT to Chile. (Which by all means was NOTHINN but a Robbie Robertson move to force the USA to go YEAH or NAY)
Watch for him in the Octobers Matches for the USA, he should be there and ready to roll for the USA in all 3 games, he scored for Miami again after coming back from Chile, and he is in a NON STOP Goal ROMP.
The USA has the RAW Material in HUGE QUANTITIES, its how the Coaches take advantage of that great asset in the Future.
Just like the Women's National Team...The Youth cominn up will be even BETTER than what is leaving Us Soon.
Yes the USMNT looks better than they were, say, a decade ago. Unfortunately, so has everybody else. Many of the CONCACAF teams have improved through player experience in the MLS, for example. The US has another improvement step or two to make before we rank among the top. But it looks like we have enough to make it to the World Cup.
