What worries me with England's manager, Roy Hodgson, is that he sticks with players who have not performed well when it matters.
At least Rooney will not play up front and is doing a reasonable job in midfield. With Daniel Sturridge injured he will have to look elsewhere.
I hope that the relative newcomers like Vardy, Kane and Drinkwater get a chance to show what they can do.

There is a lot of talent in this English team EXCEPT defensively, Cahill isn't a bad defender but not exactly world class, same with Smalling, Stones has a lot of potential but has a lot to learn (he is still young and has time) I think this is where they will come unstuck, Bertrand is pretty good but again I'm not sure about 'world class', it was not that long ago that the English team had good defenders and no strike force! Now if only they can get both at the same time.

I don't understand what Krista is saying, but I think my Football Manager agrees with him. When I was on Football Manager binge this winter, Northern Ireland won it.
I still remember that one because FM is usually realistic, so it stunned me.
