It was a stonewall penalty. It was also a foul on Ward for Jelavic's goal. The third goal was unlucky and the ref was poor. BUT Ireland were awful. It was a disgrace to see them play like that especially O'Shea, Ward, Andrews and Doyle. Hoofing the ball up the pitch giving the ball back to Croatia is all we did. We didn't close them down and let them walk all over us. We are the poorest team in it and tonight showed it. This team is to old and has the likes of Coleman, McCarthy and McClean not even getting a chance over the like of Duff, Andrews and Whelan. Poor result and we just showed the world how bad we are.

Croatia played some good stuff yesterday, I am just not sure if they were so good or Ireland were very poor?
As long as I like Croatia (we used to be in the same country once) I don't think they will beat Italy.
Maybe a 1:1 draw is more in line?

Huge win for Ukraine today. Sheva came up big with the two goals. Just what the greatest footballer needed to do in front of his country.

Zlatan was equally as good for Sweden and had a nice goal and should have had another on the header that bounced off the post.


It was tough to tell the Sweden support for the Ukraine, but there were a large number of Swedish flags hanging and their fans made some noise.

Spain only tied Italy = boo
Ireland lost to Croatia = boo

Most of the teams i prefer are not doing so hot.
