lol this thread is laughable we football fans don't care if you like it or not! We and millions upon millions do, go and type your dribble on another thread.
It was a football (soccer) fan who came up with the tread in the first place.

It works both ways. The OP knocked our sports in the post with generalizations of his own. This thread was never going down another path other than the one it has taken.
And here we go again. Let me jot down some of the cliches we see in a typical American soccer forum....
- It's not 'soccer', it's football.
- Soccer sucks.
- MLS attendence is gaining on the NBA and NHL, which means it's a top sport.
- America doesn't care about soccer.
- Soccer is a cheep sport that ANYONE can play.
- Soccer is REAL football, not 'throwball'/'handegg'.
- The the rest of the world loves this sport, why not America.
- It's the #1 sport in the world. American football doesn't even come close.
- I don't know anyone who cares about soccer.
- Soccer is boring/American football is boring.
- Soccer players are weak, girly.
- Football players are fat.
- Soccer fans are cry babies.
- Football fans are idiots.

... did I get ALL the stereotypes out of the way?
² that!!
Let's stop trying to convince and/or insult each other . Who cares if an American football fan doesn't like soccer or vice versa.
The problem is the same 20,000 fans that go to all the games... are the only fans there are. Cheap season tix my friend.....its not rocket science to figure that out..

Lock it up. Please.
I might do just that if the tone here doesn't improve. This forum doesn't have a specific moderator, and I can see some editing and post deleting just in the last couple days that is needed here, something I don't have time for at the moment. I will get back to this thread later though.
Disagreeing with subject matter is one thing and at times is ok. Posters stomping on the TOS is not ok.
Cant understand why football soccer is not liked much in the usa, dont the americans ask themselves why does most of the world have football as there no1 sport dont you feel your missing out.your top sports american football which is rugby with pads, baseball which is rounders andis not played in most countrys why are you the odd country out.
soccer is fun to play but very boring to watch.
the speed and ferociousness of American football makes it an exiting sport to watch not to mention the breaks in between plays make it a perfect spectator sport to enjoy while eating, drinking and socializing.
