I'm also 600 ft. It is 90 degrees outside. I have a wall of windows facing south (with our windows and thin drapes drawn shut). Just using one box fan on main floor. It is 78 degrees.
For me 78 is too hot for inside, I turn on the window AC at 76, and get it down to about 72-3. I have found that here where we are, at the top of the hills above the Sammamish Fire Station #82 gets the most snow in winter, and the hottest in summer. The second closest seems to be the area near the library and Skyline H.S., for some odd reasons of geography and microclimates.

I have been spending every glorious hot & sunny day out on the water with my new COVID paddle board! I was beginning to think summer might never arrive, that I had tempted fate having ordered it back in May.

I'm convinced Albuquerque New Mexico has the best weather in America. You get plenty of sun, all 4 seasons and all 4 are pretty much exactly 3 months each. No excess anything. Only drawback is that crime rate there.

I almost forgot its never humid!!

Sounds like freaking Heaven compared to what we're dealing with in my city. Friday is supposed to be 117 F. Almost passed out in my car yesterday bc it was 'only' 112 F. -_-
Can't wait to gtfo of here.

Lots of people from hotter places with AC get a shock sitting in a hot apartment with no AC in Seattle when it's 90 degrees outside. It's usually just for a few days but it can be oppressive. AC is not ubiquitous around here, even in stores and restaurants.
