Food Forest Comes to Life in Seattle

Basically it's going to a huge garden open to anyone and free for the taking. I am such a cynic that I think this won't turn out as well they're hoping... but love the idea.

Its in Beacon Hill and looks to be the first of its kind in the nation.

Great idea, all about the execution from this point. Hopefully everyone participates in good faith.

This will turn out to be something to occupy old retired people and the very young doing projects. Nobody is really going to harvest much from the forest because it will be picked over by panhandlers, transients and bums.

That is a good idea. I hope it works. I would like to start something like that here. I will try and start the ball rolling here in Indiana.
