I posted this in the Washington State board but thought I might get different responses here as well.

My wife and I are moving back to Washington at the end of this year.

We want to live somewhere that would be 1/2 way between her family (Vancouver) and my family (Anacortes). We are looking at Lacey, Olympia, Puyallup, Tacoma, Kent and anywhere in that general area due to the distance.

The national pharmacy that she works for has stores in each of those towns so it won't be a big problem for her to transfer. However while the company I work for has a franchized office in Kent (so a transfer is no guarantee) I have enough experience working in call centers (currenly a call center manager) that I feel that I won't have that hard of a time landing a job in that field.

My question is: can anyone tell me which of the towns listed above, or any other in that area, have the most call centers? Sales, collections, services, etc.?

Thanks in advance

I have no idea where there are the most call centers (sorry) but of those cities mentioned I like Lacey best. It's a safe area with relatively newer family oriented neighborhoods, and growing retail areas with everything you need close by.

Thanks Hemlock. Lacey has been coming up a lot in our discussions, but neither of us know much about it.

I appreciate it.

Unless you are retired you may not like Lacy. It has perhaps the largest retirement village in the state. It's called 'Panarama City'. Inspite of that it should be quite a save place to live. Very close to OLympia. Infact, if you are a younger couple you may prefer Olympia, older people may prefer Lacy.

Thanks for the head's up Vinylly.

For me, it doesn't matter much. I spent my younger years (18-26) living in Anacortes.

But, my wife has said she would prefer living somewhere a little "younger" though, citing that Anacortes made her a little uncomfortable because of less people her age.
