I was wondering what type of architecture is in the Seattle area? I'm looking at Kent, Bellevue, Auburn. Are there new tract homes there like say in the Southwest (AZ, NM, CA) or older homes?

Both. Kent and Auburn have a lot of newer tract homes, but older homes also. Both Kent and Auburn are older towns and have some 1920's homes too. Bellevue has some newer custom homes (really expensive) and a lot of 50's through 80's homes. There's a fair amount of cool mid century modern in Bellevue but also a lot of ugly 50's flat roofed homes with small windows. Some of the newer stuff in Bellevue is merely pretentious without being practical, an unlikely combination of architectural styles, like French Provincial Tuscan Craftsman. I guess they figure if you combine it all in one house, add granite countertops and stainless appliances you can charge a million bucks for the house.

kent and auburn has many quadrant homes that are built in the last 15 years that are cookie cutter type, looks cheap, feels cheap. During the Real estate boom, Quadrant bought lots of land and starting building, usually homes come with a small lot, with a small yard.
