Hi All,

I'm thinking of finding good preschools for my son in sunnyvale. i did some reasearch and found out about Kindercare and Bright Horizons.

Does anybody have first hand opinions about either of these two?

I would also like to hear about other good preschools in sunnyvale.

Thanks for your help.

I took my kids to Early Horizons which is right behind Serra Park. There is also a Montessori School and a French/American school in the same area.

My kids felt comfortable there right away. I must admit that the teachers vary from class to class and that I clicked more with certain classes simply because their way of doing things were very similar to mine.

The directors and staff there are fabulous and very flexible. I had done some extensive search before making my final decision and I wanted a preschool that was not going to put a huge hole in our pockets but that was also good with teaching children social skills.

Good luck with your search!!!

Try joining this Yahoo Group: childcare_ca

This has reviews of daycares and preschools in the Bay Area, particularly in the Silicon Valley area. You can search people's posts, or look at the database that has a list of reviews. You should find a lot of information there. Good luck!
